  39. What I have observed with the tcp/ip and dialup adapter on Win95 that
  40. after a period of time, the applications will loose connectivity
  41. through the tcp/ip stack. The modem will still be connected to the
  42. service but no pings or icmp requests find there way out to the serial port
  43. the lack of light changes on the modem indicate that,the application
  44. is not talking to the serial port. A simple reconnect will correct the
  45. symptoms for a short period of time, but eventually, a complete restart of
  46. windows 95 is required to re-initialize the tcp layer.
